When Abi desperately needs a place to crash, she makes the risky decision to stay in her millionaire client's empty penthouse—only to have his parents show up and assume she's his girlfriend (oops!). Enter Declan, the workaholic exec who invented "Abby" as a fictional girlfriend to appease his meddling parents, and he's definitely not thrilled to discover his made-up love is actually his cleaner. But instead of coming clean, Declan makes Abi an offer: fake-date him for a while, and he'll take care of everything she needs—a strictly business arrangement with absolutely zero chemistry to complicate things.
