When hockey captain Henry Turner accidentally crashes Halle Jacobs' book club looking for academic rescue, they strike an unlikely deal: she'll tutor him through his brutal course load, and he'll help her break through writer's block by giving her all those real-world experiences her fictional characters get to have. What starts as a carefully rule-bound arrangement between two busy juniors quickly becomes the highlight of both their weeks, filled with stolen moments between hockey games, tutoring sessions, and late-night adventures.
