This is such a charming premise—Lincoln gets hired as an IT security officer and stumbles into reading the hilarious, deeply personal email exchanges between two coworkers who have zero filter about their lives. What starts as him doing his job becomes something entirely different when he finds himself genuinely invested in their stories, and worse (or better?), completely smitten with one of them. The real magic is watching Lincoln wrestle with an impossible situation: he's fallen for someone who has no idea he exists, and the only way they "know" each other is through words he was never supposed to read. It's funny, sweet, and gives you all the butterflies of a romance that can only happen in a very specific, very 2000s kind of way.
Reading soundtrack
Soft indie pop and acoustic love songs that capture quiet longing, stolen moments, and the sweetness of connection found in unexpected places. Think gentle melodies, bittersweet vocals, and that warm feeling of being truly seen by someone.
